How is Uniondale Participating in the Program?
Uniondale UFSD was an early applicant in the Track 1 portion of the Program. Uniondale UFSD applied to NYSERDA in the 4th Quarter of 2022.
NYSERDA awarded Uniondale UFSD approximately $500,000 in funding for the Track 1 portion of the Program.
The Track 1 work is currently underway and consists of the following:
Energy Studies, Indoor Air Quality Studies, Engineering Design for Unit Ventilator Replacements and an Educational Resource for students and staff.
Timeline for Track 1 Completion
- July 2023 – Energy Studies and Indoor Air Quality Reporting
- August 2023 – Design for Unit Ventilator Upgrades
- October 2023 – Educational Program
